Hello! Thanks for being here.
I am just a ‘twenty something’ girl full of ambitions! I’ve been living in the UK since I was thirteen years old. I am originally from a tiny humble village in Cameroon. At just under 18 years old I fell pregnant with my little prince. I was scared, alone and mocked. But my son went to university with me (literally! he was at the nursery inside the university), we graduated together. He went off to big boys school and I went off to the real world! I am passionate about a lot of things. The first is to encourage teen mothers to pursue education and chase their dreams. That’s why I decided to set up a charity called Youngmamas back in 2013 (www.youngmamas.org.uk). The second is Africa! I love Africa and its potential, its people (my people). The third is solving problems, probably explains why I am a good sales person (I sell solutions). The fourth, God! I am passionate about God and the mystery behind that unseen being that somehow I have total faith in. Another one is learning! What’s the point of doing something if it won’t teach me anything new? I am addicted to improving myself, so I love meeting inspiring people, I have role models, I read books, try to make new friends when possible etc. Last and certainly the most important. I am passionate about my son! Yes! He exudes passion , he loves football, he is a loyal friend and family man (7 going on to 50). He inspires me in so many ways. He gives me strength, he challenges me (oh God knows he does!). He is everything.
I have so much to share. I have so much to learn. Follow me, give me your thoughts and advice. Juvin
